> I/ Regarding Goal 1 which aims to “Eradicate poverty in all its forms everywhere” the following two targets it contains indicate:

1.A Ensure significant mobilization of resources from a variety of sources, including through enhanced development cooperation, in order to provide adequate and predictable means for developing countries, in particular least developed countries, to implement programmes and policies to end poverty in all its dimensions

1.B Create sound policy frameworks at the national, regional and international levels, based on pro-poor and gender-sensitive development strategies, to support accelerated investment in poverty eradication actions.

> II/ As for Goal 17, which deals with “Revitalize the global partnership for sustainable development“, it contains the following targets: :

17.3 Mobilize additional financial resources for developing countries from multiple sources.

17.17 Encourage and promote effective public, public-private and civil society partnerships, building on the experience and resourcing strategies of partnerships.

The approach we have to implement these targets and objectives is to initiate and/or contribute to the effective realization of various operations known as “CROWDFUNDING”. These are powerful means of collecting, thanks to genuine civic engagement, sums that can be truly significant.

The forthcoming book by the founder-administrator of this digital platform devotes entire pages to various concrete examples, some of which have had worldwide repercussions.

It will be the honor of “Saigloin-Africa” to be the privileged space where, specifically, proposals for socio-financing, participatory financing for the benefit of Africa, African men and women, can be formalized. . Of course, with the technical support of African financial institutions that have the structures and know-how as well as with the involvement of mobile phone networks.

Above all, let it not escape anyone that the financial and banking systems in Africa are excluded from the major global networks and channels where crowdfunding platforms operate. This should no longer be a reason for not acting, by ourselves, for ourselves, among ourselves.

Let us constantly keep in mind that what we ourselves, African women and men, do not do and/or we do not want to do for ourselves, on our continent, and therefore in our countries, no one else will come moreover do it for us.
