Long live ADLG !

In Iran, wives of African diplomats, or African female diplomats, serving in one of the missions, or African expatriates living in Tehran, regardless of the ranks and ranks of each other, we decided to to be first and foremost Friends, better, Sisters from Africa, our continent.

United, united, determined, creative, inventive, we have revitalized the ADLG (African Diplomatic Ladies Group).

We have made it a forum to avoid knowing and experiencing loneliness, boredom so far from our countries. We have made it a space where we can continue to cultivate and learn.

We have made it a means for the harmonious development of our children. We have made it an instrument for promoting our continent and for expressing the generosity of Africans.

Coffee Morning with thematic talks, discovery trips to some countries, celebration of Christmas, of African Children’s Days, donations to charitable institutions in our host country, organizations of African Bazaars …

Thanks to your enthusiasm, we were able to achieve all of this. And each of us still has almost inexhaustible memories. Thank you all for allowing us to experience these moments.

But we remain African, and our continent still needs our energy, our solidarity, the wealth of experience we have acquired, even when we have not been in Iran, our dynamism.

And since the four letters ADLG will remain for us as the symbol of the beautiful values ​​that we have cultivated there, I suggest that we keep ADLG as our slogan, as our rallying cry, that we awaken the ADLG SPIRIT, in relying on the Internet and its applications such as social networks.

I suggest that we create a powerful network of fraternity, friendship, solidarity between us and actions at the service of the development of Africa which still needs our energy.

I suggest that we revive the ADLG Flame which has never been extinguished in us and that ADLG refers to African Dynamic Ladies Group.

Some of our Sisters have left us. But their memory is alive in us. From up there, they will be happy to see us revive and continue our beautiful common work.

Notice, most of our children in Tehran have become young adult women and I have no doubt that they will be delighted to contribute to the influence of the new ADLG organization, whose creation I propose to you.

Thanks to this new ADLG, and to this space on this website intended for the promotion of the best of Africa, we will be able to do practically everything we did in Tehran, via the net: thematic coffee morning, African bazaars. And above all, we will have the opportunity to organize group trips that will be an opportunity to meet.
